You brought her hope!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.womensrightswithoutfrontiers.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Anjun-Wang-July-2021.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3514\" width=\"296\" height=\"428\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.womensrightswithoutfrontiers.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Anjun-Wang-July-2021.jpg 222w, https:\/\/www.womensrightswithoutfrontiers.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Anjun-Wang-July-2021-207x300.jpg 207w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 296px) 100vw, 296px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cHualing\u201d lost her husband and all three of her children.\u00a0 She felt she was cursed<\/strong> <strong>and lived in despair until the day our fieldworker came to her door.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Hualing is an eighty-nine-year-old widow.&nbsp; Her husband passed away ten years ago from lung cancer. &nbsp;Together they had three children: two boys and a girl.&nbsp; Sadly, <strong>all three of her children died:<\/strong> one son in a car accident, the other son of liver cancer.&nbsp; When Hualing mentions her daughter, she cannot control her emotions: her daughter was the youngest child and died young.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Now Hualing is all alone.&nbsp; All her grandchildren are too busy to visit and have their own things to do.&nbsp; Since her sons died, the two daughters-in-law never come to visit.&nbsp; Day by day, Hualing is getting weaker and weaker.&nbsp; She suffers from coronary heart disease and throat problems.&nbsp; She lives by herself.&nbsp; Her only social contact is when her neighbors drop off some vegetables for her because she is not able to go to the village market. &nbsp;&nbsp;She cannot understand why God would allow all her children to die.&nbsp; She would rather have died if one of her children could live.&nbsp; <strong>She believes that she has been cursed.&nbsp; So many tragedies have&nbsp;happened&nbsp;in her life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The only bright spot in Hualing\u2019s present life happened the day our \u201cSave a Widow\u201d field worker came to her door to offer help and hope.\u00a0 Hualing was so happy when she heard that our field worker would give her a $25 monthly stipend for food, and better yet, visit her once a month! \u00a0She says it is hard for her to go to church, and she doesn\u2019t know how to pray\u2014but she said <strong>as soon as she knows how to pray, she will for sure pray to God for our \u201cSave a Widow\u201d program in China and our WRWF organization, supported by generous people like you!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"262\" height=\"89\" src=\"https:\/\/www.womensrightswithoutfrontiers.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/Signature-e1543283764330.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2722\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cHualing\u201d lost her husband and all three of her children.\u00a0 She felt she was cursed and lived in despair until the day our fieldworker came to her door.
