Credit:  The Epoch Times<\/p><\/div>\n<p>NEW YORK.\u00a0 WRWF\u2019s Reggie Littlejohn will be speaking four times this week at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.\u00a0 The UNCSW is a global policy-making body dedicated to the advancement of gender equality.<\/p>\n<p>Littlejohn stated, \u201cWRWF\u2019s work hits the center of the focus of this year\u2019s Conference:\u00a0 the elimination of violence against women and girls.\u00a0 The coercive enforcement of China\u2019s One Child Policy causes more violence against women and girls than any other official policy on earth, and any other official policy in the history of the world.\u00a0 Forced abortion \u2013 up to the ninth month of pregnancy &#8212; is official government rape.\u00a0 Forced sterilization and infanticide are crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe preference for sons in China has encouraged gendercide (the selective abortion of girls).\u00a0 Now, there are 37 million more men than women living in China today.\u00a0 This gender imbalance drives human trafficking and sexual slavery.\u00a0 And China has the highest female suicide rate of any country in the world.\u00a0 This is the true war against women.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe call upon China\u2019s incoming president, Xi Jinping, immediately to abandon all coercive population control and to end this bloody reign of terror.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WRWF\u2019s first three presentations were to standing-room only and overflow crowds.\u00a0 At two of these events, WRWF screened \u201cIt\u2019s a Girl,\u201d a powerful new documentary about gendercide and forced abortion in China and India.\u00a0 WRWF will screen the film again on Saturday, March 9 at 12:30 p.m., on the 10<sup>th<\/sup> Floor of the United Nations Church Center.\u00a0 This screening is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Littlejohn also spoke about WRWF\u2019s \u201cSave a Girl\u201d Campaign, in which fieldworkers identify women pregnant with girls and encourage them not to abort or abandon their daughters.\u00a0 WRWF then gives these women a monthly stipend for a year, to help support these girls. \u201cWe are saving lives and ending gendercide, one baby girl at a time,\u201d Littlejohn stated. \u00a0\u201cIt is astonishing how little it takes to save a life in China.\u00a0 We need support to expand this highly effective campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Learn more about the \u201cSave a Girl\u201d Campaign:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/womensrightswithoutfrontiers.org\/index.php?nav=end-gendercide-and-forced-abortion\">http:\/\/womensrightswithoutfrontiers.org\/index.php?nav=end-gendercide-and-forced-abortion<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/womensrightswithoutfrontiers.org\/index.php?nav=end-gendercide-and-forced-abortion\"> <\/a><\/p>\n<p>Learn more about the \u201cIt\u2019s a Girl\u201d film:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.itsagirlmovie.com\/\">http:\/\/www.itsagirlmovie.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>WRWF thanks the organizations sponsoring the UNCSW events:\u00a0 Women\u2019s United Nations Reporting Network, World Youth Alliance, Family Watch International, Endeavor Forum, Parliamentary Network of Critical Issues and Priests for Life.\u00a0 Littlejohn states, &#8220;The diversity of the sponsoring organizations demonstrates that whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, no one supports the selective abortion of girls; and no one supports forced abortion, which is not a choice.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK.\u00a0 WRWF\u2019s Reggie Littlejohn will be speaking four times this week at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.\u00a0 The UNCSW is a global policy-making body dedicated to the advancement of gender equality.
