Alice is 80 years old. Her husband passed away many years ago. During his life, he used to sell second hand clothes while being the sole breadwinner. Throughout the course of their marriage, they were blessed with five children. Currently, Alice lives with her granddaughter, who is unemployed. She depends on the generosity of others to supply food and other necessities. She is a happy and loving soul. At the moment, she suffers from a serious heart problem medically known as a pericardial effusion. This condition causes there to be excess fluid between her heart and the sac surrounding her heart. She does not have the capacity to access adequate treatment. Alice also suffers from severe pain in her lower limbs. When she heard there were some generous people willing to help support her in her condition, she could not believe her ears. “May the almighty God mightily bless them,” she said.
