HELP US SAVE DESPERATE WIDOWS IN UGANDA!

CHRISTINE N.

Christine was 76 years old at the time we began supporting her. Her husband had passed away fifteen years ago. During their marriage, they were blessed with 3 children. Christine lived with her eldest daughter. Her daughter supported her by washing clothes, which did not earn her enough money to buy medication for her mother. Christine suffered from general weakness and deteriorating health. Additionally, she suffered from high blood pressure, diabetes, poor eyesight and pain in her lower limbs. She also walked with great difficulty. Christine was very talkative, social and loved making friends.

Despite her challenges, Christine was grateful to learn that there were some generous people willing to offer her support in her need. “May the good Lord continue to bless these generous people,” she said. Christine sadly passed away on December 21, 2021. We are grateful to have been able to provide support for Christine during the difficult last five months of her life.
After Christine passed away, our field worker wrote to us regarding a few words her daughter had to say about our support:

Today I attended the funeral service for Christine and her daughters gave a great speech of appreciation to you, She said her mother would have died a long time ago if it was not for this organization's support. She was able to buy medication for her mother who had high blood pressure. She says it was time for the Lord to take her, but you have provided the support they needed to take care of her.

May Christine rest in peace.
