Esther is 75 years old. Her husband died in 1990 after battling with heart disease and hypertension for almost 10 years. During his life, they were blessed with two sons. Only one of her sons is still living and the other was killed in a motorcycle accident. Esther lives alone in an old house made out of mud and bamboo, with an iron roof. She keeps a few chickens as her source of income. She suffers from poor health, hypersensitivity, and does not have access to proper medical check-ups. She could not believe her ears when she was told there were some generous people willing to offer support Just because she needs it. “May God richly bless them,” she said.
