HELP US SAVE DESPERATE WIDOWS IN UGANDA!

LEOKADIYA N.
Leokadiya is 71 years old. Her husband died in 1995. During his lifetime, they were blessed with two sons and one daughter. Unfortunately, the son who used to take good care of her drowned in a drainage channel and died. Leokadiya lives with two grandchildren from her late son in a temporary shelter made out of mud and bamboo. She has no sure source of income and gets support from helpful people and a local Catholic church. Leokadiya sells sugar cane to earn a living. She suffers from hypertension, paralysis, and feels sharp itching in her palms. Leokadiya exclaimed with joy when she was told that there were some generous people willing to offer support. ‘’God has finally remembered me,” said Leokadiya.
