HELP US SAVE DESPERATE WIDOWS IN UGANDA!

LEONTINA N.

Leontina is eighty one years old. Her husband died about 20 years ago. During his lifetime, they were blessed with twin daughters. Unfortunately one of her daughters has passed away. The other one is living but unemployed. Leontina’s late husband used to work as a local guard while she worked as a peasant famer and gathered firewood for sale. Her late husband was an alcholic and her marriage, which lasted about 10 years, was full of domestic violence, fighting, and threats of murder. Leontina currently lives alone in single rented room in a house made out of mud and bamboo. The room leaks heavly whenever it rains. Currently, she suffers from backache and chest pain but is taken care of by well-wishers. She is a committed believer and trusts God with her life. She is grateful to learn that there are generous people willing to offer support in her time of need. “May the good Lord continue to bless these people,” she said.
