HELP US SAVE DESPERATE WIDOWS IN UGANDA!

MARIA N.

Maria is forty-nine years old. Her husband died in 1996. During his lifetime, God blessed them with one child, who is now twenty-six years old. Her late husband left six children from other women under the care of Maria. Soon after his death, her in-laws ganged up with the six children to force her out of the matrimonial house. She struggled so hard to remain in the house with support from the Local Council and Non-governmental organizations. The six children are adults now. They left the house to fend for themselves. Maria has a serious medical condition that requires medication. She is hypertensive and she can hardly engage in any active work. Her face, legs, and stomach swell abnormally. Maria lives with her niece and two grand sons. Her younger sister checks in on her occasionally. She believes God loves her and provides for her needs. She is grateful to learn that there are some generous people willing to offer support in her difficult circumstances. “May the good Lord continue to bless these good people,” she said.
