MARY L.

Mary was 97 years old at the time we began supporting her in May 2021. She had lost her husband many years before. During the course of their marriage, she was not able to have any children. Over the years, Mary started to lose sight and became totally blind. Sadly, there was no one willing to take her in for medical care and treatment. Her niece provided some care, as she was not able to walk and had to crawl on the ground. She also suffered from ulcers and general body weakness.

Despite her many challenges, Mary was still a very intelligent and joyful soul. When she heard that there were some generous people willing to provide aid for her in her condition, she was full of joy. “God is good,” she said. She passed away in June 2021. We are honored to have been able to offer her help during the difficult last year of her life.
