Jimmy Lai is one of the greatest freedom fighters in the world today, and his life is gravely at risk. He is jailed by the Chinese Communist Party in Hong Kong and has been in solitary confinement for more than five years! He is 78 years old and in poor health. He has diabetes, hypertension and a heart condition, which are not being treated in jail. According to his family, he is losing his fingernails and teeth, as well as a lot of weight. His “mitigation hearing” starts January 12, in which his lawyers will be arguing for less than a life sentence.
