HELP US SAVE DESPERATE WIDOWS IN UGANDA!
We just launched our “Save a Widow” Campaign in Uganda!!
Just like the widows in China, widows in Uganda are abandoned and impoverished – and in desperate need of our help. Many are living with HIV/AIDs and cannot afford medication. Many have children who have died, and their living children cannot help them. Many are sick, blind or otherwise disabled. Many are illiterate. Many live in shocking poverty and squalor. Scroll down and click on their pictures to read their individual stories.
How do we offer them hope? Our fieldworkers come to their door and tell them that we want to help them because they are human beings, they have great dignity and infinite value. We offer them a monthly stipend, just to help them live. They inevitably want to know what they need to do in return. Our answer: Nothing! This is a free gift, just because we care about them.
$25 can help support a widow for one month
$300 can help support a widow for one year
We decided to begin helping widows in Uganda because of my long friendship with Rev. Moses Ssemanda Mbuga, founder of the Gospel Messengers Church. He is a proven and trustworthy partner in our campaign to help widows in Uganda.
These impoverished widows are intensely grateful that someone cares about them, even though their own families have abandoned them. One of the widows we were supporting in our pilot program recently passed away. Here’s what our fieldworker told us:
Today I attended the funeral service for Christine and her daughters gave a great speech of appreciation to you, She said her mother would have died a long time ago if it was not for this organization's support. She was able to buy medication for her mother who had high blood pressure. She says it was time for the Lord to take her, but you have provided the support they needed to take care of her.
These precious widows cannot believe that someone from the other side of the world would just help them without asking for anything in return. They have never experienced anything like this in their long, hard lives .
I hope you will join us in helping them! Click on the Donate button, and write “Uganda Widow” in the memo line.

Please help us help these women!
With gratitude for your generosity,
In Memoriam
We are grateful to have been able to support these widows, providing them with hope and help during the last months and years of their lives. May they rest in peace.
